A number of dividend paying companies announced their quarterly results before today’s opening bell. Given below is a detailed break up of these earnings reports.
1. Francesca (FRAN) misses Q1 estimates
Francesca reported Q1 earnings below analyst expectations with a Q1 EPS of $0.17; a cent lower than the consensus EPS estimate of $0.18.
The company posted a Q1 revenue of $95 million which barely missed the analyst estimate of $95.3 million.
Francesca Updated its FY 2015 EPS guidance to $0.81-$0.90 as compared to a consensus estimate of $0.89 per share. The company also posted a FY 2015 revenue guidance of $412-$424 million, slightly below the current analyst estimate of $427 million.
2. Cellectis (CLLS) reports Q1 results
Cellectis S.A. posted its quarterly results this morning with a Q1 profit of €0.23 per share.
The company posted a Q1 revenue of €9.2 million against €26.5 million last year.
The company did not update its guidance with the Q1 earnings report.
3. Vimicro International (VIMC) Beats Q1 estimates
Vimicro International posted its Q1 numbers today. Its Q1 EPS of $0.05 was $0.05 higher than the consensus EPS estimate of $0.00.
However, the Q1 revenue at $19.2 million was slightly lower than the $19.5 million estimated by analysts.
Vimicro also posted a Q2 2015 revenue guidance of $29-$21 million which is lower than the consensus estimate of $37 million.
